As a 60 year old woman who began dialysis twice weekly a few months ago (diabetes) I worry about this so much. I am scared to death that a government plan will kill my private plan (which I am pleased with) and the government will deem me too old to save. Some people think that is crazy for me to think this way, but they are not me. I also do1n782&#;t know if they would cover a transplant if I am lucky enough to get a donor or if my sister (who is a perfect match) ends up giving me one of hers (a last resort for me).
